I started Custom Finishes in 1991 after working for a large contractor and learning the trade of wallpaper installation. I have worked with designers from New York, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Los Angeles as well as several locally. Due to my reputation for great customer service I was asked to install window treatments for a big box store. Over the years the number of stores has grown. This lead to Graber approaching me to become a certified installer of their products. I am also are a dealer for Marleigh window treatments.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wallpaper is priced by the single roll for installation. Window treatment are priced by the number of blinds or the square footage of the window for shutters. There is a job minimum to cover travel expenses.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with a phone call to discuss your project. Then an in home visit if we need to measure or show samples of window treatments. If the customer wants to move forward we can schedule installation when the product arrives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went through Springs Window Fashions certification program to install Graber products. 5 years on the job training for wallpaper.
