I have been working with the McDevitt Law Office for the last several years. Lisa McDevitt is the Principal and we first engaged when I wanted to update my Will (plus Living Will, Power of Attorney etc). My wife's Will needed updating as well. This was during the Pandemic so the entire process was done via Zoom and email correspondence and review. About 4 years later we had interest in estate planning and creating a trust for us and our family and once again hired Lisa for this engagement.Lisa is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough and was able to answer all of our questions. Estate Planning, Trusts, and Pour-over Wills are more complicated that you might expect. She is prompt at returning calls and is very patient and caring with her answers and demeanor. She believes that questions and answers are part of the process and makes you comfortable asking whatever thoughts or questions may be on your mind throughout the process.We made use of a portal to track revisions and changes to documents and she referred us to a notary public who was quite helpful too during the final signature/ witness process as this was all done via Zoom given the locations of all parties.I highly recommend working with Lisa for your legal needs in the areas mentioned in this review.
