FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Triangle Appliance Doctor charges a $109 diagnostic fee for the first appliance. If you have a second appliance that needs diagnosis during the same visit, the additional diagnostic fee is $70. Before any repair is completed, I’ll explain what I found and review the repair cost with you so there are no surprises. Completed repairs are backed by a 6-month repair warranty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by gathering information about the appliance, including the brand, model if available, and the problem you’re experiencing. During the appointment I diagnose the issue, explain what I found, and provide the repair options and cost before moving forward. My goal is to make the process straightforward, communicate clearly, and complete the repair as efficiently as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 15 years of hands-on appliance repair experience. Early in my career, I performed warranty service for major brands including Samsung, LG, Bosch, Wolf, Miele, and Sub-Zero. I’ve also completed specialized training with Samsung and Sub-Zero and hold a refrigerant-handling certification/license that allows me to work with different refrigerants. Over the years, I’ve worked on nearly every major appliance brand and developed extensive experience diagnosing and repairing refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and more.
