Introduction: We are a porcelain painting (China painting) school. We have professional porcelain artist teachers from all areas of the US who teach their painting techniques to students wishing to study with world renowned porcelain art teachers. We meet each year in Flat Rock, NC at the Bonclarken Conference Center in late October. Our first location was in Charleston, SC but we moved to the Flat Rock area in 2011. This year (2013) our teaching staff includes the following teachers: (examples of art painted by these teachers can be viewed on our web site) 1. Jane Marcks (Teaching portraiture) 2. Barbara Jensen (Teaching Faberge Style Eggs) 3. Celee Evans (Teaching Painting Lily of the Valley and wild roses on a clock) 4. Mary Gosden (Teaching her technique for painting Architecture). Mary has each student bring a photo of their favorite architecture to use as a study to create their own design) 5. Ellen Wilson-Pruitt (teaching painting animals). Her students will choose either a Panda or a Horse as their subject). 6. Frances Braxton (teaching Painting White Roses. With her technique her students will be able to go back to their studio and apply what they have learned to painting other white flowers.She will teach students how to paint white flowers.
