FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for my services begins with a base hourly rate ($28.00 per hour), however most of the jobs I take are priced based on a negotiation with the client for the specific tasks they seek.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The communications world has changed dramatically thanks to the Internet. A bit of typing, a few clicks and anyone can send a message out to the entire world. It's a beautiful thing, this new age of easy communication, but it provides challenges as well. The biggest obstacle now is not sending a message out, it's getting the message heard. Toward that end, I am constantly monitoring and studying the latest trends and theories on digital communications. I also take advantage of webinars, training courses and seminars to learn new skills and how to use the latest tools for communicating.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Customers seeking writing, editing, marketing and communications services should consider many factors before hiring a professional provider, but two stand out, availability and versatility. Availability is simple. You want to make sure that the provider has the time to devote to your project and respond to your needs in a timely fashion. Versatility is a bonus. The more services the provider can offer, the better your chances of getting a cohesive communications plan.
