Last week I had another fireplace company come in to look at my gas fireplace which was not working and within 10 minutes the tech told me my burner was broken and I’d need to replace the entire fireplace unit. The cost he quoted was $3,000. I don’t live at this particular home full time so I told him I would pass. I had been messaging with a couple other companies over the Thumbtack App and told Rowan what I had decided and he responded by saying, if he couldn’t fix it for $250 or less, he wouldn’t charge me for the visit. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I had them come look. Within just a few minutes of starting to work on my unit they had the fireplace up and running and the flames big and bold as new. He had the fireplace put back together and the room all tidied up (something the previous company didn’t do BTW) in less than 20 minutes. The total cost from Rowan? $225! I’m so glad I didn’t just give up and gave Rowan a chance.

Rowan came out to look at our gas fireplace and quickly found a broken part that he fortunately had on hand and replaced it for us during that visit. He was in and out within 15 mins and was very personable. We had another estimate that came in at $2800 to replace the entire unit! I am so grateful for honest contractors and fixing the problem for a mere fraction of that 1st estimate. Thank you!

Back in 2024 they installed a master controller to the fireplace and the job was executed well and with punctuality. After the winter storm in 2026, there was a minor issue with the wiring and they responded quick and fixed the issue. Showed up as promised. Very happy with their service
