We are so happy with Don’s work! We have a 1960’s credenza with wood tambour-style doors. It’s a:special piece to our family. One the doors split, breaking the door down one of the creases. It was not an easy fix. When I googled furniture repairs, Don’s name came up. I was impressed by the great reviews, now I see why they are so good. This is my first time using thumbtack so wasn’t sure if I would get a response. Don responded to my message the following morning, he dropped by our house to view the work the following day, arrived as scheduled and was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining what he would need to do. He took the piece to his shop, did the repairs and contacted me as soon as the repairs were complete to arrange a time to deliver to me. He arrived exactly when he said he would. We are so pleased with Don’s work. I would not hesitate to reach out to him again should I need another piece of furniture repaired and will refer any friends needing furniture repair to Don. A+++ experience!!

Don repaired a corner of my sectional sofa where a piece of sharp metal was jutting out. Don did an EXCELLENT job! He said it wasn’t perfect, but I couldn’t tell. It looked brand new to me. If you need your furniture repaired, you should definitely contact Don! Don is also a super nice guy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Due to the wide range of furniture types and furniture construction it is not possible to offer a standard pricing on repairs, however with a good description of the issue and/or pictures I can provide a price range and before I start any work you will know what the final price will be.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact the customer and get a good understanding of their problem and the desired outcome. I will then provide them with an initial estimate and let them know if the repair can be done onsite or if I will need to take the item back to my shop. At that point we can establish a convenient time and proceed with the work
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with residential and commercial customers.
