I was pleased with my experience with Congdon Law. Mrs. Congdon and staff were friendly and efficient. Mrs. Congdon has a very kind professional attitude and manner. She reviewed topics related to my concerns that I had not considered. Most definitely will use again and I will gladly recommend her services.

Thank you so much, Rick Answers to your questions. 1. I rather not take it back to Dad's name because I was told that Medicaid would want the reimbusement after his death. 2. He has Tri-care for Life 3. He is in rehab facility but they put him on hospice care with resident care(?) I am really not sure, they said something like medicare doesn't cover for long term. He's been there since Aug.2011. And asked me to apply for medicaid ASAP, which is a problem due to the house situation as I noted earlier 4. I think he has Humana, I received Humana asking him to choose 2012 medicare coveage by Dec. 7, 2011

Tel. No. 910 - 725 - 0041 Attorney Maureen Callahan Ward takes a highly personal approach to the practice of elder law, estate planning and closely related areas. She takes the time to explain legal tools and strategies in plain English so that clients can understand their options and make informed decisions based upon their particular needs and values. Maureen is also committed to establishing strong, long-lasting relationships with her clients. She is still in touch with the families of clients who she worked with 40 years ago, including their children and grandchildren. Many of her clients have become close friends.

My firm only handles estate planning and elder law. I do not practice in other areas because I believe the best way to counsel and protect my clients is to be informed and focused solely in these areas. I like educating families about the options available to them. I provide educational workshops in the community to help people understand misinformation that is available by talking with family members and searching the internet. Good, clear information is better than a bunch of wrong information that can lead to costly and unnecessary mistakes.
