- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts for booking fireplace services before busy season and when there are multiple fireplaces in one house.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Some customers simply call to schedule a fireplace service, but many others need more serious help, with design services, detailed proposals and turn-key installation service. We work very closely with our clients so we can tailor our services specifically to their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in construction all my life, but more specifically, the Hearth, Patio, Barbecue Education Foundation provides great training and a certification program for individuals that wish to excel in the field. I qualified as an NFI (National Fireplace Institute) Master Hearth Professional many years ago, and now I teach classes for the HPBEF and NFI. I also have achieved the rank of CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) Certified Chimney Sweep. These are the highest certifications in our industry.
