- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price Estimates that are listed or quoted are subject to change based on customer requests, extra services, unspecified special attention areas that may require more effort or time, Etc. A cleaner will do an initial walkthrough with the customer before cleaning to go over the home or facilities needs and adjust the time and pricing as needed. Discounts are offered to recurring customers and contracts. Please ask for more details if you wish for us to clean for you again!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ensure that the customers get the cleaning they deserve. We work with our customers and go over every area of their home or facility to see what it needs during the initial quote. Whether the entire home or facility needs cleaning or just a few specified areas. We aim to give our customers a custom cleaning experience at a professional level. After the initial quote and a date is scheduled, one of our cleaners will do an walkthrough of the home or facility with the customer before the cleaning begins. They will review the home and ensure the areas that need special attention or specific requests are adjusted into the estimate and noted for the cleaners. After the cleaning is finished, a cleaner will review the home once more with the customer to ensure that everything was cleaned to their expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years worth of accumulated cleaning experience. Originally starting off at the age of 15, I was trained and worked as a houseman(housekeeper), commercial laundry, and front desk receptionist for a hotel for around 8 years. Occasionally cleaning rental beach homes and residential homes on the mainland for the company that owned the hotel. During that time, I was in charge of cleaning and organizing all the hotels laundry for the housekeeping staff. As well as helping out with cleaning and changing linen in guest rooms as a houseman. I was also in charge of keeping the facility grounds clean, stocking and organizing the breakfast/reception area, and cleaning during and after wedding and social events. Eventually I moved on to helping with management and upkeep of a convenience store, cleaning the facility grounds as janitorial on a daily basis for about 4 years. With my experience, I moved on to doing Janitorial for various community centers, POA/Town Halls, Government Buildings, Local Parks, Residential Beach Homes, for the next 3 years. Having been trained and certified by OSHA on safety and cleaning methods during this period. After that, I decided to establish East Carolina Cleaning Solutions. This way I can bring a quality and professional clean to everyone.
