About
At Horton’s Harvest & Arbor, I don't just maintain yards—I cultivate ecosystems. As a Orange County native and a lifelong farmer, I understand our local soil and climate better than anyone. What sets my service apart is the science behind the work. I hold a degree in Horticulture, a Certified Arborist credential, and full licensing for Ornamental and Turf pesticide application. While many companies focus on 'mow and go' volume, I operate on a philosophy of Quality over Quantity. I take the time to research every species on your property to ensure that every cut, treatment, and planting is done correctly the first time. My true passion lies in trees, specifically the art of pruning fruit trees and orchards to maximize both beauty and harvest. Whether you need precision arborist work, specialized turf management, or a garden that thrives year-round, I bring professional-grade expertise with a farmer’s work ethic to every gate I walk through." Horton’s Harvest and Arbor provided excellent service from start to finish. He was punctual, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. What really sets him apart is his deep knowledge as a farmer. He brings a wealth of expertise in gardening and understands the full ecosystem, not just the basics. He offered valuable insights that went beyond the immediate job and clearly has a passion for what he does. I highly recommend Lamont to anyone looking for reliable service paired with genuine knowledge and experience in farming and gardening.

Horton’s Harvest provided me with an excellent service that resulted in a neat and tidy yard! As spring approached I planned to sell my house, and many landscapers were fully booked already. Lamont was responsive and professional. He spent hours pruning bushes, weeding, mulching and mowing. Now my home has amazing curb appeal! I would definitely hire him again for any project, big or small. Very reasonable pricing, too!!

Lamont did a great job planting my 'Hearts of Gold' Redbud. He handled the 811 markings and found a very healthy tree. Everything looks good. He mentioned he will stop back by to prune one specific branch when he is here to help my neighbor. I look forward to seeing him finish that last detail. Highly recommend for quality work and communication!

I can’t say enough good things about Horton’s Harvest and Arbor! I hired them to cut down a huge forest of Chinese privet (it was about to take over our house!!), pull up an ugly shrub that had been there for well over a decade, and plant a baby fig tree that we had in a pot. They are a delight to work with! He is an expert in fruit trees, figs in particular, so we definitely got the right man for the job! Professional, punctual and able to quote a fair price quickly, you will be happy you hired Horton’s Harvest for any yard needs. Also, they’re just wonderful people and I was happy to meet them! Will definitely call again in the future! P.S. that sloppy fence in the picture is my own doing, not installed by Horton’s Harvest. They would have done a much better job had I asked them. They helped me pick a place for the fig and planted it, then I put up the temporary deer barrier. We are delighted with our baby fig tree!
