Demolition and removal of a large detached garage in my back yard. Old and deteriorating. I’m so lucky to have found Schwartz Land Improvement to take it on. Small, local and family-owned. Nathan (owner) came in person to do a thorough assessment beforehand at no charge. Listened to all my questions and was clear, open and obviously knowledgeable. Further communication was great - always responded quickly to any calls. We agreed on an estimate (very reasonable by my inquiries) and that’s how it stayed. No changes, add-ons or surprises.
When the day of the work came, Nathan and his terrific helper Aidan arrived early and both worked hard non-stop. The take-down was amazing to see - skillfully and carefully done. Then all the building remains were removed. They left the site and yard immaculate. The little tractor they used had minimal impact. They even picked up all the tiny bits of roofing in the yard and went over it for nails. All done in one day! Nathan came by the next day for a final check-in.
Terrific to work with from beginning to end of the project. Great folks. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

Nathan was responsive, professional, and easy to work with—he gave us a fair quote, showed up on schedule, and made sure the entire area was spotless before wrapping up. The crew worked efficiently and safely, and the results exceeded our expectations.
We highly recommend Schwartz Land Improvement LLC for anyone needing land clearing, tree removal, or property cleanup services. Excellent work and great people to deal with!
