FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the level of craftsmanship, planning, and project management we bring to each remodel. We don’t cut corners—and we don’t expect you to either. Every project begins with a paid design and planning phase so we can clarify the full scope of work and avoid surprises mid-project. This upfront investment saves time, money, and stress over the life of the remodel. We provide clear pricing and payment schedules, and we’re happy to walk you through how we build our estimates. Our goal is to create beautiful, functional spaces that hold up over time—and that begins with being transparent and intentional about the numbers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by getting to know you and your vision. After you fill out our short intake form, we’ll review the scope of your project to make sure it’s a good fit for our team. If it is, we’ll schedule a discovery call to talk through your goals, budget, timeline, and how you plan to use the space. From there, we move into a paid design and planning phase. This step ensures we define the full scope, make smart selections, and price everything accurately—so you know what you’re getting and what it will cost before we ever swing a hammer. Once plans are finalized, we build. You’ll get a clear timeline, a dedicated team, and regular updates along the way. Our job is to carry the stress so you don’t have to. We believe remodeling should feel exciting, not chaotic.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before launching Transform NC, I spent over a decade in special operations, where precision, planning, and leadership weren’t optional—they were the standard. That mindset shaped how we run projects today: clear communication, tight timelines, and no excuses. On the construction side, my team and I have years of hands-on experience, particularly with historic renovations and high-end residential remodels. We stay sharp by learning from the best in the industry, investing in coaching, attending builder summits, and constantly refining our systems. More than anything, our training is in delivering results—on real job sites, with real families who trust us to get it right.
