FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. I price all projects by the job. Each job is unique and the time requirements vary. I have been told many times that my pricing is fare.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with them in person and review their project and expectations. Sometimes I am able to provide an estimate at that time, or if extensive materials and planning are involved I can get back with an estimate in a couple of days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in the trades working with my grandfather who was a builder and craftsman. Everything I know, I learned from other fine craftsman over the years. I have a degree in fine art, and I'm a certified kitchen and bath designer. I have excellent trim, and finished carpentry skills, but also do a lot of small home repairs for my customers. There isn't much in the realm of carpentry I have not done.I
