The best decision I made during wedding planning was choosing Shauna as our day-of coordinator. She was an absolute joy to work with, extremely organized, thoughtful, and executed every detail flawlessly. Throughout the planning process, Shauna was an amazing sounding board. She provided solutions, ideas and had our best interest at heart, at all times. She ensured we stayed on track, and that every detail was covered. The week before the wedding, Shauna confirmed all details with our vendors to ensure everything went smoothly. My wedding day was simply the most amazing day of my life. Shauna knew every detail of our contracts and timeline. She is a problem solver, and calm under pressure. There were a number of mistakes made by our rental companies. Shauna worked with them directly, got us a refund, and had them re-deliver what we needed – all before I even knew there was a problem. Before I started working with Shauna, she had promised that every detail would be taken care of and that the day would be the most amazing, worry-free day. And she 100% delivered on that. Shauna is a Godsend!. She meticulously handled every detail to perfection. My wedding would have been a disaster without her because I knew so little about last-minute complications. SJ was absolutely amazing and made my sisters wedding day everything we dreamed of! She was a pleasure to work with, was extremely organized, and had thought through every single detail to make sure the day went perfectly. She coordinated with all the vendors to make sure set up and take down went smoothly and really put our minds at ease so we could focus on enjoying the day. I cannot recommend her enough as a day of coordinator and would 100% work with her again.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Base price starts at $1250 for Day of Coordination only and up to 10 hours for the day. Price also includes rehearsal and queuing on day of.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- Gathering Information on the event and giving a quote. - Send over my contract to sign and client pays deposit. - Month to month check in up until 60 days out. - Meet client at venue for visual and discussions. - 60 day mark, client provided day of timeline and floor plan. - 30 days out, updates and revisions provided by client. Final payment due. - 2 weeks out we touch bases one final details. -1 week out we touch bases on anything that need to be finalized. - DAY OF EVENT YOU GET MARRIED!!! OR CORPORATE EVENT IS EXECUTED!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started in hospitality when I was 16 years old. I began as a server then moved into bartending when I turned 21 years old. After that, I moved into event managing and quickly became a general manger of a catering company and focused on corporate events. Once I capped out there, I moved into day of coordination for an outdoor wedding venue. Now, I am an event coordinator for a huge / famous restaurant in downtown Asheville, NC and I have am an entrepreneur, owning my own Day of Coordination business traveling and helping clients day of their event.
