Introduction

Safety for horse and rider are a priority. I try to provide as much time and explanation as I can to help get horse & rider on there way to success. I don't believe in force, but more in patience and understanding. I like helping people because in the long run I help the horses to have a better life with there owners. Ignorant, abusive owners can be a very dark side to a horses existence. Horses are usually trusting creatures once that trust is earned. It is impossible to make an animal that large do anything without trust unless you use drugs and/or force, and force doesn't usually work because it makes them more fearful.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended the 2012 & 2014 USDF FEI Trainers Conference in Florida.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been riding since I was 5 years old and owned my own horses since then. Riding was a hobby that just grew into a business out of my love for horses and teaching.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are hiring someone to teach your child, be sure they have a real teaching background, and make sure your child wears a helmet and shoes with heels. Also, you want your child put on a horse suited for its size and experience level. If a trainer tells you that they can force your horse do anything, I would be very suspicious.
