FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Photography of children, expecting mothers and engagement photos.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get to know your photographer and let the photographer get to know you. You or whoever is being photographed needs to be comfortable around the person you hire. Some children are scared of studios because of the big flashes in the room. If you have such a child - they may thrive more with outdoor shoots where you can get more playful and candid shots. Get pictures of your children being themselves instead of posed with fake smiles. Working in a studio I hear parents say, "That's a fake smile - I know you can do better than that!" Actually, your child is trying to be relaxed and smile in front of a stranger and its probably more stressful for them than you think. If you have an infant and you want those adorable shots....feed your baby 10 minutes before you start taking pictures. Yes, you may get sleeping pictures...however, you won't have a fussy baby. And one day you'll look back on those adorable sleeping pictures and think, "Aww, my baby was so precious." Don't be discouraged if you don't get that "perfect" shot. As a photographer....we go with what the baby or child allows us to do. And we try very hard to make sure we get those lasting memories for you. Above all, be patient....sometimes it takes a while and sometimes your photo shoot is over in 30 minutes. Relax and have fun with it.
