- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS: $1/minute. For example 15 minute massage = $15. I have loyalty card and for every 15 minute massage they receive a stamp on a special card and their 6th one is free. FOR YOUR EVENTS: There are 3 options to fit your needs. 1.) Host-sponsored: Host pays 100% 2.) Co-pay: Host & individual guests split cost 3.) Guest-sponsored: Guests pay for massage FOR YOUR EMPLYEES: Their are 3 options to fit your needs. 1.) Company-sponsored: Company pays 100% 2.) Co-pay: Company & employee splits cost 3.) Employee-sponsored: Employee pays for massage
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have to attend 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew my license. I am able to take classes that interest me which have included, reflexology, Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage, chair massage, Hot Stone Therapy, and much more. Out of the 24 hours of continuing education, 3 hours has to be in ethics.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 24 years and I wanted to go back to school to do something that I could use in the veterinary profession and also have the option of working with people. Massage was the perfect choice because I'm able to use massage in both worlds, animals and people, and I see everyday how it makes a difference.
