Vintage 1936, 650 SF cottage extensively renovated and installed new everything including electrical and plumbing. Needed someone for final punch list. I needed someone who had broad based knowledge and the skills or the ability to "figure it out". At least 3 licensed contractors had looked at an exterior door that just wasn't right. While it worked and looked right the problem remained a mystery. Greg figured it out and now it works, feels and sounds right. They installed solid original, heavy doors with updated hardware and corrected plumbing issues that others could not. Carpentry is above par as they installed crown, casing and baseboard with tight mitre joints and clean corners. Anyone can frame a new house where everything is new and square. Start with a modest 90 year old wood frame house that has had 90 years to settle crown, baseboard and casings. No gaps evident throughout. Finished with great paint job and a fair price. I will certainly use them again.
Details: Crown molding • Casing • Drywall • I'm flexible • This is just an installation job - no design needed • As recommended by carpenter • 81 - 160 ft • I would like it painted

Greg helped us fix two interior doors which were catching on the floor of the house. He was on time and made quick work of the job. The two doors were removed, cut, sanded, repainted, and rehung in less than two hours. Excellent workmanship. Highly recommend.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very subjective.
Every job is different, we go off a job by job basis. This means, the hourly rate in most cases won’t apply as that is purely a reference point. The pricing of a job depends on many factors. Distance of travel, material cost, sales tax, time it takes to do the work, difficulty of work itself, time it takes to price project from start to completion, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know who they are and what they are looking to get done while finding solutions that will best suit their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied construction management at Wake Tech, graduating with my associates degree in that field of study.
Worked many years in the construction field even before I was properly hired by anyone.
