Introduction: I'm a photographer based in Wake Forest, NC. I'm Aretha Powe (pronounced Poe) owner and operator of Taylor Peace Photography. Taylor Peace Photography is a combination of my maternal grandfather's last name and my grandmother's maiden name. The business name was created to honor the two beautiful souls who influenced my life greatly! I grew up in a small, rural community in North Carolina. I currently reside in Wake Forest, NC. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University. I am a casual, relaxed wedding photographer. My goal is to blend into the background and capture your wedding day as it unfolds.

We enjoyed having Aretha take our engagement photos. We planned to take them outdoors but when the weather did not allow us to do so, she immediately found the perfect location. Aretha was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable. I would love to work with her in the future.

Aretha was amazing to work with. She was very quick to respond anytime I reached out, she was very thorough making sure I knew exactly where to meet her even including a map, and even came up with a rain backup plan because the weather was not looking good. Aretha made my fiance and I very comfortable during the entire shoot and we had so much fun. Her professionalism was outstanding and it was like we had known her for years even though we had just met. It was a very quick turnaround to receive our photos and we were just in ah of how great they were. She truly captured who we are as a couple and I think that comes across in the pictures organically. She gave us both black and white and color pictures and the lighting is so great. We have received so many compliments on our pictures already and have only had then for a couple of days. If you have the chance to work with Areatha I say take it because she is amazing.
