In my opinion, I think Zach is a very good guitar teacher. He teaches a good balance of fun songs to play but he stresses the importance of good technique. He also spends a lot of time learning the material he teaches so if I have any questions, he can answer all of them and show me how to fix it and why it should be done the way it is. He is also a very skilled guitar player, making it much easier to learn how to play guitar the right way. He challenges you to try to be the best you can be, it definitely takes work but it will make you become a better guitar player.

My son really enjoys learning guitar from Zach. Zach knows how to push him just enough so he gets better each week. Our son has had lessons from Zach for a little over a year now and we highly recommend him.

What a gift Zach has been to my son over the last year or so that he has studied guitar with him!!! Zach strikes a discerning balance in his teaching style in that he is flexible in how he works with students to meet their specific goals. Zach is a talented and trained musician; however, not all good musicians are good teachers. But Zach is! He is proficient in various musical genres and really knows how to employ the knowledge of his instrument and also the theory of music in ways that enable the student to not only grow, but also want to grow! We drive an hour to get to Zach and are happy to do so!

My son loved taking guitar lessons from Zach. He is a great teacher that really cares about his students. Always willing to go the extra mile to help his students progress, he exhibits the best of what a teacher should be- talented, dedicated, and fun!
