Marie and I worked on a half-day workshop on health and wellness last year. Her presentation was very professional and up-to-date. Marie also shared some personal experience which resonated with a lot of participants, and made her presentation not only professional and informative but very personable. She is very passionate and knowledgable about her area of expertise and shows it when she speaks to others. As a colleague, Marie is very easy to work with and enjoys collaboration. Make sure your speaker will not give you a cookie cutter speech, but will adapt to your audience instead. Over the last 15 years, I have been in front of widely varying crowds. From leading group fitness classes in local gyms to teaching at the Master level in Ivy league universities, from corporate presentations to industry association conventions, I have a passion to understand what makes an audience tick, and will adjust accordingly.
