Blake was an absolute blessing and pleasure to work with! He was punctual, professional, communicative, easy going, and fun to work with. We decided on a highlight video as well as a ceremony video and we never been happier with the final product especially for one of the most important days of our lives together. I had worked on my documentary for 8 months, doing what editing I could. But I really wanted the film to shine, hoping to enter the film into festivals. I had not worked with an editor before and I had a tight deadline. This was during Christmas, before and after. Blake was quick to respond to my text and emails, which was essential. If I wanted to try something or change something or ask his advice, it was nice to know I could count on him. Blake was super easy to talk with and he sparked my imagination. The fact is, my doc came out better than I ever could have imagined. I am entering my doc in film festivals. And now, it is available for checkout or viewing at my Holocaust Museum Research Library. Thank-you Blake. Hopefully we can work together again soon.

Our experience with Shooting Star Media honestly could not have been any better. Blake was an incredible find for us, from start to finish the customer service experience as well as the quality of work we received was amazing. Blake called me early on to listen to the scope of our project, offered helpful suggestions and really took the time to advise the best package for our needs.
Everything felt very tailored to us. I really appreciated the amount of communication before the event and on the actual day of our event.
He arrived early, talked with me about his plan and asked if there was anything extra I was looking for. He was working for the entire length of the event and was so pleasant to talk to!
Our team and guest fell in love with his humor and talent. We are absolutely keeping his name in our books as our go to videographer/photographer

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75/hr estimated cost, filming and editing. Discounts for multiple days or projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical gig process is as follows:
1) Customer provides details of gig (video requirements, shoot dates, purpose of video, etc)
2) Shooting Star Media will deliver a quote
3) Upon acceptance of quote, Shooting Star Media will provide a service agreement and an invoice for half the total cost of service.
4) Once the service agreement is signed by both parties and a deposit of half the total cost of service has been paid, the shoot day/edit schedule will be reserved for customer.
5) After Shooting Star Media delivers final product the customer will have the opportunity to request revisions.
6) When the customer is fully satisfied with the final product, Shooting Star Media will send an invoice for the remaining balance.
7) Both parties walk away happy!
