If you coordinating a gala, event, special day or more and want to save money then hire an assistant for your gala. Someone that can ensure, on the day of the event, that everyone is adhering to their timetables and communication is on-going.
HOW IT STARTED
For approximately 20 years, I have created, lead, hosted and assisted in events. It started as a passion when I worked in Las Vegas. Often, I would come up with creative and festive events for our residents in our apartment communities. And or, I would create events for my corporate clients (meet-and-greet of sorts). I would visit restaurant owners and negotiate elements so that it was a win-win for all involved.
LOVE GETTING PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR ANY REASON
Furthermore, I created a dining social club in Seattle. Where people would dress up for dinner and have a fancy social for a couple of hours.
I VOLUNTEER. I HAVE LOTS OF ENERGY FOR A 40 SOMETHING
In addition, I started to volunteer my time as an event and marketing volunteer for the city of Tacoma, city of Renton and the city of Lakewood, WA. I humbly share that I was nominated the Vice-chair for the Arts Commission for the city of Lakewood (Seattle area).
JACK OF ALL TRADES
During those several years 2013-present, I helped by either taking photos at the event, ensured communication was on-going with different individuals, set-up tables and also greeted guests at public city events.
ENTREPRENEUR AT HEART
I loved it so much that I started my own business for fun. And I was immediately hired to coordinate an engagement party for over 100. I was the go to person for all. I greeted the guest, directed them to the areas, made sure the tables were set up properly and even assisted the vendors. I jumped in wherever I was needed. And I mean that.
MY BUSINESS TOOK OFF EASILY IN 2017
From there, I was hired for a home event, celebrating a person's life. It was for approximately 40 people. I hired an assistant to help too. That individual, then hired me again. But for a house party overlooking the ocean.
The day of, I helped the home owner arrange the home, plate the food, answer the phone and door while she got ready. Then greeted the guests, replenished plates, tidied up as the night went on and even started to pick up an hour before the party ended and before I left for the night. I love celebrations. I love life, joy and being happy. I have LOTS of energy, you will see that. But sometimes, I may still hire an assistant. Depending on the venue.
I wear a lovely dress, prepare nicely so that your guests feel at ease. I wear a cameo around my neck and so does my assistant so you can tell your guests, who to look for easily. I blend in with the party and seem just like a family member, helping out. I smile at all times and am hospitable.
Oh! I did take a project management class too. And completed a BAS in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I am friendly too. Hire me.
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to work with unfriendly, cranky or bridezilla type individuals. LOL. Life is too short. I am respectful and ask for the same type of behavior in return.
