Jacob Scott Drywall did an excellent job on hanging and finishing a room addition for me. I was very pleased with the company. They arrived on time and got right to work. The job was well done and Jake was very friendly. I would recommend them to all my friends!

Jake is the hardest working young man I know. He comes to the job and gets the work done. The quality of his work was outstanding. We didn't get estimates when we had him do work for us but I have since found out that he's a lot cheaper than others. He was very clean and you won't believe how little clean up there is when he leaves. I am so appreciative of having found such a good sheetrock person and I will recommend him any opportunity I have.

Jake repaired my kitchen ceiling due to a leak in the bathroom upstairs. He came in and fixed it and there was no mess. I couldn't tell that he had been there and he was very reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Jake scraped the popcorn off all the ceilings in my house and did a wonderful job. He put plastic everywhere so there was very little clean up afterwards. He is a hard worker and is very reasonable. I would recommend him for any sheetrock work.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I got out of High school, I began working for my dad. Ever since then I have been doing drywall. I like to work. I would much rather be working at my profession than sitting at a desk.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common jobs I get are remodel jobs. Either customers want to have popcorn removed to update their ceilings, or I'm fixing patches. I do a lot of new construction as well, but with many people deciding to stay in their homes from the slow economy, it calls for lots of remodel.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend making sure that you hire professionals to do the work. In a down economy, a lot of people are offering to do whatever they can to make money, which is great because that means that they are willing to work. But when it comes to a skilled trade, the finished product will be much better quality when the company knows how to do the trade. I would also recommend making sure that chinese sheetrock is not used.
