FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bill clients by the project and not by the hour. There are industry standards regarding pricing and we realize most clients on Thumbtack are looking for value and trust. Being from a small town, we realize a task should be taken on so as to have a win-win result, i.e., a client gets what they need at a fair price and we gain a fair wage wherein we will be considered when needed for another task. Referrals are a big part of what we do as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself and offer up my credentials as a service provider. They are offered the opportunity to explain their concerns about the trade as well as the task that needs attention. There is a question and answer period wherein I ask clients about their project as well as experiences with contractors. We realize we will not be hired for every request yet we are dedicated to offering a service and value second to no one in the industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A home is most people's single largest cash outlay. It is a safe haven and place of comfort. Their decision to let me enter is sacred and I hold it in high regard. As a homeowner myself, I know that having good energy in it and giving it the utmost in respect benefits me as well as the residence. Clients are worthy of such as well.
