We hired Epic to remove carpet and replace with Adura Max. Chris visited our house several times with various samples for us to look at. Even brought a few full boards for us to see what the actual product looked and felt like. Project was completed in one day. Installers were all very nice. There was one issue in that a power wire was accidentally cut. Chris had an electrician come out immediately and had it fixed at no cost to me. Floor looks beautiful. Excellent product and service. Will be hiring them again when we are ready to do more of our floors

Chris, the owner, and his team did an excellent job for my house.
Throughout the entire project, from the quoting phase, decision making phase, material selections, ordering and implementation phase, Chris was extremely responsive, explained recommendations, what he planned to do, what the expected duration and result would be, and addressed my questions and concerns promptly and patiently.
Chris's quotes are truthful, with no surprises or hidden additions. He left his samples to me for a few days and gave me ample time making the right decision on material and color. The contract was standard with half down and 2nd half due at completion. I feel it is very fair that the down payment actually covers the material cost.
Even though there was a delay from the manufacturer in delivering the floor planks, once the project started, Chris and his team completed the flooring on a 745 sqft space within 2 and a half days. There was even some additional work around the carpeted staircase that Chris recommended and asked for my permission with an estimate. The result looks great, and he was honest about the actual cost and offered to include it in the project for free.
Every day on the job site, Chris texted me on his arrival, work progress, sometimes with photos, end-of-day departure and setting my house alarm, etc. This level of adequate communication is crucial in building trust and providing his customers with an ease of mind. I appreciate his professionalism.
The photos were taken immediately after the project completion. The space looks clean and professionally finished. The color coordinates well with existing walls and cabinetry. I am very satisfied with the work. I think the space would look even more fantastic once I get the walls and trim painted.
It was a pleasure working with Epic Flooring. I highly recommend them.

Chris and his crew did a wonderful job refinishing our nearly 3500 sq ft home with 60+ year old floors. Did a great job repairing areas (old radiant heat/water damage and fireplace area). Communicated everyday and helped us decide finish for our floors. No unexpected billing- and priced beat every other company

We are very happy to report that Chris and his crew exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to give us an outstanding floor. We had somewhat of a complicated situation wherein the original builder mixed red and white oak and put carpet in the middle of the home. Chris found flooring that matched and his crew laid our floors at an angle so that the edges on all sides matched perfectly. He carefully picture framed the fireplace hearth and did an incredible precision job of calculations so that the new floor matched up with the old perfectly. They made it look as if it were done originally. The floors blend so well we can hardly believe it. When we had a small issue with some grain popping, we called Chris with concern. Even though it was a Sunday, he came personally within an hour, to assess and went straight to work fixing it so that our holiday plans didn't have to be changed. His employees are some of the most respectful, diligent, and trustworthy workers we have met in a long time. It is obvious they care deeply about the quality of their work. I will be recommending Chris to all of my clients in the future when I have flooring needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have found that when it comes to flooring there is very few jobs that are the same. Most of my pricing is based on the project and varies. But the most common price would be sanding and finishing starting at 2.00 per sq. ft. and that also depends on type of wood and process. Installs start at 1.50 to 2.00 per sq. ft.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first will give a free on site estimate and discuss with them the scope of the work and the time it will take to complete. Discuss all options based on there flooring needs and life style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my experience and training has come from work experience, I have attended educational class and seminars as needed.The industry is always changing and education is key
