Tim did a great job. Found the problem right away, made the repair quickly. Tim also changed out a number of switches and power outlets and again an excellent job. Highly recommend and would hire again for my next electrical project.
This is how I rate an electrician - notice the alignment of the screws in the photo. This shows attention to detail on the outside, so you know there is attention to detail inside as well.

We had many quotes from many different electricians, but Wire Dogs was the first to roll up their sleeves and offer very cost effective solutions that none of the other electricians raised. We’re having Wire Dogs do a lot of the electrical work around our house. He’s very knowledgeable and fast, incredibly skilled and hard working (worked until about 7 or 8 pm one night to deliver on high priority items). Quoted with 48 hours and started working within about 2-3 days right after. The speed we need for the project we have going. The best electrician we’ve come across in the Triangle area.

I needed my electrical panel to be replaced in the house that I had just bought.Timothy arrived on time, was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful, and he worked fast. When he discovered an unforeseen issue with the meter can, he figured out a simple and inexpensive way to fix it. Flat-rate pricing on most jobs — outlets, fixtures, fans, GFCIs, panel work. Free estimates on larger projects. No hidden fees. 10% off for military, first responders, and seniors. I can help with Duke Energy rebate paperwork when it applies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Quick call or message via email or text to understand the job, then either a phone quote or a free on-site assessment. You get a written estimate with scope and timeline. Once approved, we schedule, pull any permits, complete the work to NC code, and walk you through it before leaving.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed electrician with years of hands-on residential and commercial electrical work. Currently pursuing Duke Energy certified contractor certification. I stay current on NEC code updates, EV charging standards, and changing technologies.
