Do you want to be an actor but don't know where to begin? Do you have an audition to prepare for or just want to stay abrupt on your craft? Contact the thespian, Carrie. She has 15 years of theater acting experience on and off broadway, film, TV and hosting credits, with a B.A. degree in Theater Arts. Carrie studied under the likes of Konstantin Stanislavski. Acting 101 sessions are $65 With $35 registration fee. The classes are geared toward the beginner and advanced actor. Lesson plans are designed based on the students, and involve the history of theater and acting, character and script analysis, warm ups, improvisation, scene study, etc. Coaching sessions are $95. With a $35 registration fee. The coaching sessions are geared towards a specific project in need of perfecting or guidance, or if you need to select a piece to audition with and add to your repertoire. This class involves warm ups, exercises, improvs, memorization, cold reading practices, monologue selection and perfection, diction, enunciation, projection etc.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I auditioned for the Crucible at a young age and was cast as Tituba. I went on performing and writing and landed a job at the PM High school as a stage manager. The director unfortunately was fired and I had to fill his shoes!
