FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on a few different factors, such as what type of event you're hosting, location, hours, expected attendance, and any special requests or accommodations (such as new song requests). I'll work to give you a quote as soon as possible, so we can determine whether it's a good fit before discussing the more specific details. For all events I require a 50% deposit to secure your spot for the booking. The remaining balance is due by the day of the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Early in the process I'll send you a checklist that will help both parties address logistical concerns, so you can ensure that you won't have to worry about music and/or audio the day of your event. If requested, I am happy to send a contract over to sign to protect both parties. (Depending on the size and nature of the event, I may require this) I'll also work with you to ensure that you'll hear exactly the type of music that you'd like to hear. If you'd like to choose specific songs from my setlist, I'm happy to provide it. If you'd rather leave it in my hands, that's totally fine as well; I'm confident the music that I perform will fit in well at your event and help elevate the atmosphere!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In six years, I've performed over 600 solo gigs in a variety of different capacities. I've played listening rooms, and I've played crowded, rowdy environments and everything in between. Some examples of events that I've performed: --Weddings --Birthday Parties --Corporate Events --Private Parties --Holiday Parties --Engagement Parties --Singer Songwriter Showcases --Festivals --Wilmington International Airport --Restaurants --Breweries --Distilleries --& Much More! Through these experiences, I've developed the skillset to bring your event to life, regardless of what it looks like! You can also trust that I've dialed in my sound, and have worked through any kinks to ensure that you're getting a true professional. In the pursuit of excelling in my field and honing my craft, I've hired vocal and guitar coaches at different times in my career. Some of the individuals I've worked with are Sarah Kay Kittle, here in Wilmington NC, as well as private lessons with Robbie Barnby, a guitar virtuoso based out of with over 100,000 YouTube subscribers.
