- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are based on the following criteria: 1. Location 2. Number of visits per day 3. Number of pets 4. Additional services - meds, watering plants, collecting mail. 5. Dates - holidays are premium prices and last minute bookings can carry a higher daily fee. 6. Once a fee is established that is the daily fee. Daily fees are accessed in whole for a full day of visits or a partial day of visits the fee remains the same and is not divisible by visits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the animal but generally we'll do a quick meet and greet to introduce the pet and make sure they will accept me. With Pets known to bite or attack multiple visits may be needed while the family is still home in order too allow he/she to recognize I'm not a threat.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since the 4th grade, my friends and neighbors (around the world) have asked me to take care of their pets. Why not earn money doing what you have always loved to do.
