they provided plenty of markers for land boundaries. the men arrived on time and finished when they were scheduled to finishJun 30, 2018Verified
They came out and did a great job. I had a land survey done. They marked all posts on a way in which I could follow and now I know exactly were my boundaries are. Thanks again.Apr 8, 2016Verified
What started out as a simple survey, turned messy due to generations of family land swapping...Mr Ciccolella with Accurate Surveying worked overtime and tirelessly to map our property and complete it in time to close! We would not be the new owners of a 120 yr old farmhouse were it not for him!!Sep 28, 2015Verified
They came in as they promised and surveyed the land with proficiency.Aug 5, 2015Verified
The guys from Accurate Surveying were great. On time, thorough, friendly, and very low cost. My realtor, legal team and I were all happy with the survey. They marked out boundaries and went over it all with me before they left. They don't normally provide the large map photo that some surveyors do, but I didn't need it for anything and I'm glad I didn't have to pay someone's on-staff cartographer extra to have something I don't need. Highly recommend these guys!Oct 20, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It isn't that complicated really. If I know the address and what the clients needs as a final work product, I can come up with a fixed fee that is based on my years of experience. I do consider the length of the property lines in figuring the fee, but just as important is the age of the deed, or rather the survey the deed is based on, the terrain, and the overgrowth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I schedule the work so they can be there when we are finishing up; that way they can be shown their corners and lines.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every year I have to earn 15 Professional Development hours and submit the information to the Board of Examiners. Subjects range from changes in the law to GPS theory and methodology. I have taken classes in ethics and insurance. I have also taught class to prospective Professional Surveyors preparing to take their State Boards. The rules also allow me to get credit for my serving as vice president of the local Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors.
