My name is Dustin Ward, (Guitar Instructor)
Stringsnwood Guitar Lessons are for the beginner/intermediate guitar player that want to learn there favorite styles of music.
I believe in teaching guitar in an authentic way ,meaning that I play songs the way the original artist did.
The styles of music I teach are blues, classic rock, pop, alt. rock, folk, classic country, pop country, jam bands, oldies and soal, Motown, Americana , and Blues fingerpicking styles.

As I am approaching my 40th birthday I deceided to step outside of my box & try new things in life. My children are grown, so that leaves me with more time to take up a hobby. So, I deceided to look up guitar lessons. I've fiddled around with an accoustic a little bit, but I really wanted to learn more. So, when I found Dustin & his willingness to teach this old girl a new trick or two. I received many quotes from different teachers, but I didn't think they would be a good fit for me. I was scared in the begging just the thought of not being able, but quickly he made me feel very comfortable. The best thing about my new teacher is his patience with me & not treating me like a child and teaching me the kind of music I'm interested in. He asked me on day 1 my interest in music that I wanted to learn & each lesson he's covered them. I could not be more pleased with my lessons. I defiantly give Dustin two thumbs up & I would refer him to anyone.
