It is an honor for me or to be part of your very special day! I know how important your wedding day is and my objective is to make it as stress free and as smooth as possible.
I am a non-denominational, ordained minister of the Gospel specializing in ministering outside the "brick and mortar" of the traditional church. I do not currently pastor a church, however; I have held leadership positions in churches in the past. Before I became a minister I performed as a professional musician and Disc Jockey!
I have had extensive experience in the wedding industry and have acted as "Master of Ceremonies" at a great many weddings.
There are no hidden fees although there is an extra charge to attend a rehearsal. I take care of the legal paperwork at and after the event including returning the Marriage License to the register of deeds office. I am happy to meet in person for a no obligation, initial consultation, if we can find a mutually suitable location and I offer unlimited calls, texts and emails to accepted clients. I also offer custom made wedding certificates and a variety of special ceremonies such as the sand ceremony, tree planting, unity candle lighting, etc.
I am also available for Vow Renewals, Baby Dedications, and Memorial services. *********************************************

Rev. Walker was such a pleasure to work with. During our initial consultation, I forgot to send back the questionnaire that he requested. For that reason, we had to adjust the ceremony start time by 1 hour (because he had another wedding booked for that same day) so he did all that he could to still accommodate me. On the day of the ceremony, he communicated to me that he had another ceremony that was starting a bit later than expected and he still made it to my ceremony on time. I had him perform a love lock ceremony, which we collaborated on the wording for the ceremony itself. Everyone loved what he had to say and I am very satisfied with the results, the wedding certificate, and the wedding gift that he provided us with.

Our wedding day was simply beautiful and Reverend Jim and his wife, Susan, played a tremendous part in it. Although, my husband and I had a small wedding with no rehearsal, Reverend Jim and his wife's professionalism made everything feel and go so smoothly. They provided the entrance, exit, and ceremony music, all of which was a great fit for our wedding. If we had to do it all over again we would not change a thing. Reverend Jim and Susan are great people and were truly a delight to work with!

Rev. Jim Walker and his wife, Sue, were amazing. They were so sincere and Rev. Walker provided the sweetest traditional ceremony (which is exactly what we were looking for). Though we opted for traditional, Rev. Walker was open to tailoring the ceremony to exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend His Way Ministry to anyone getting married. One of our guests commented that our ceremony was the best that he had ever seen, and that’s all due to His Way Ministry!

Pastor Jim performed our wedding ceremony on 11-20-16. He and his wife were such a joy to our special day. He was very professional, friendly, prompt, and just such a special delight for the occasion. He provided the music which was wonderful. Bro Jim and his wife are great. Communication was timely and appropriate. Our wedding was held in our home and they came to us, provided the music we needed and were understanding as well as tolerant of a half-mad bride who planned and put everything together herself. Bro Jim is a true professional who helped make our "homemade" wedding so very special. They also gave us a beautifully made wedding certificate and a gift of inspirational bible verses. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee does not include music for services, ceremonies and receptions. I can provide pre-recorded entrance and exit music at a slight additional charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out, from the client, what their expectations are, their likes, their dislikes and how I can make their special day as delightful as possible. I have an assortment of wedding certificates to choose from at no extra charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ordained since 2012, Music Minister for over 20 years. Prior to becoming a minister I was a professional musician for many years which can come in quite handy is some situations! I have a degree in Broadcasting so I have a pleasant voice with the ability to project even without a microphone.
