- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Meals are $30/two people (the minimum) and an additional $15 for every additional person. If you are ordering weeks worths of food, we can negotiate a deal! Classes are $50 each. For personal chef services, I charge $12/hour plus the cost of groceries.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Nevada Health card that certifies that I am able to serve food in the state, I have a ServSafe Manager's certificate which is a step above that, and I have my certification in serving alcohol by ServSafe. I also attended Johnson & Wales University, and got my associates in Culinary Arts!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Food is the only thing I've been interested in consistently; a lot of interests have come and gone, but I've always loved to cook. So, I went to college for it. But, as most people know, college, and its expenses are well, expensive. I originally just started applying for catering jobs on Thumbtack so I could get groceries for the week. But now, I truly love doing and I do it well! (See my best of thumbtack badges!)
