What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do a wide variety of different things. I like to look at the project so I don't run into as many surprises. Other than the ones a person can't see. We estimate by the square footage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I show up at the place of the project. Measure look at any obstacles that could cause more material or labor. Give the homeowner an estimate. If they choose to go with us then sign off on estimate and collect deposit for material. I then round up material in the next week and get it delivered. Then depending on our work load give them an estimated start date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many years of hands on experience. I don't believe that there is much I have not seen in my twenty years of doing construction. It is more like I have seen that. I have had to repair worse.
