Introduction
I love sweets, and I always have. My earliest memories are of sitting propped up on a stool next to the kitchen counter, watching my mom mix up something sugary and delicious. Thankfully, taste-testing was always welcomed.
My great Gramma Emma was my mom's baking mentor. She was a farm wife who learned to cook out of necessity and began to bake out of love. I am proud to use my Gramma Emma's special family recipes and to be passing down the tradition of baking to my children as the 5th generation.
I am an engineer by professional background, but have enjoyed making special occasion cakes for many years. Sweet Celebrations - Omaha is the marriage of my love for baking with my desire to work from home to take care of our 3 young children.
