What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't like to lose jobs over a few dollars, so I often ask potential clients what their budget is, and do my best to meet them at a point that is comfortable for both of us. My entire fee is always up front and there are never any hidden charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication, and knowing exactly what my client wants from me. This is a partnership that works best when everyone is on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was educated in macro and forensic photography at such institutions as the University of St. Louis School of Medicine, the Southern Police Institute, and others. Additionally I regularly collaborate with and get inspiration from some of the finest photographers in the industry as well as other pros from across the country and constantly study the latest trends in editing, shooting, etc. There are countless resources for professional photographers who want to stay on top of their game.
