Hilltop Studio

Music is my field and teaching is my passion. I have space available for 5-7 students who want to study music through piano or voice. The goal is to gain music literacy in reading, performing and listening. Using classical music as a foundation, students use skills to link to all other styles. Vocally, I teach technique that maximizes the voice potential for whatever style interests the student. Piano students learn to read music, play solos and duets. I am an accomplished vocal soloist. I have served as the keyboardist and choir director for several churches, have taught public school music at levels K-12, and taught voice and music education courses at the college level. I enjoy students of all ages and welcome interviews for available time periods. Lessons are generally 30 minutes.
