- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge 23.50/hour, but every job is different and rates are negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pretty easy really. First I listen and ask questions to get an idea of the problem, set up a meeting time & fix the issue. If the issue will take more time than is available I'll take the machine home with me to work on, and keep the customer updated on my progress. Upon completion the system is tested by the customer and payment for service follows.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for pc repair when I was 19, and I've been building, repairing and upgrading my own systems for as long as I can remember. Also, I read a lot, research a lot and keep up on the latest technology.
