The service was great and everything tasted great but the meat was a little tough from being cut the wrong way. Other than that it was awesome.

We had Megan cater our son's wedding dinner. It was a dinner for about 110 people and everything went off wonderfully. The food was delicious, served warm and looked inviting. The staff and Megan were professional, prompt and handled little changes without a fuss. The preplanning was easy and she kept everything well organized and had suggestions that made it all so easy. I would highly recommend Megan and her catering business.

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching new methods of cooking, new recipes and innovative ideas from other chefs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved to cook and when I moved to Hatteras, NC with my husband I didn't know anyone and had never lived at the beach. My husband was a charter fisherman and would sometimes bring home fish for us to eat. I started experimenting, buying fish in local markets and trying local produce and found it very rewarding.
What types of customers have you worked with?
For weddings I mostly prepare full meals. I also do a lot of hors d'oeuvres parties for all types of occasions but mostly for business related gatherings. Twice a month I offer four course gourmet meals at Moonlight Ridge Vineyard; those are open to the public.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am getting ready to serve Dr. Jane Goodall (Gorillas In The Mist) for the second year in a row. She comes to Nebraska to view the crane and I am so honored to be part of her trip.
