We are so incredibly happy with the patio that Concrete Modality did for us!
When we first bought our house it had a grade level deck (that ended up having termites) and a sunken paver patio. We torn that all up and for the next 18 months we just had a sad mud pit covered in landscaping fabric. We hated our backyard and didn't want to spend anytime in it. We finally decided to do a concrete patio and called another company and they just took a few measurements and gave us a price on a square patio and that was it. We felt uneasy going forward because we weren't sure what we were going to get with them.
My husband found Concrete Modality and requested a quote and Terry came out right away. It was a completely different experience. Terry looked at our backyard and started asking us about our current yard drainage concerns, about how we wanted to use the patio, what entertaining we wanted to be able to do, etc and came up with a vision of a beautiful asymmetric curved patio with beautiful concrete steps.
Within a few short weeks his team was at work executing this vision and we are just so happy with the results! His team were really great laid back guys (our dog who normally is skittish around new men LOVED THEM) and they would explain anything they were doing to us when we asked so we could understand the process. They were also SUPER respectful about social distancing with us with the COVID pandemic (I'm currently pregnant) and I felt very comfortable with them.
I have probably spent more time on my patio in the past month than I have in the past 2 years since we bought the house. It was so wonderful working with a company that didn't look at the job as a slab of concrete but rather as an opportunity to make us love our home. I already have a friend who was so impressed by their work that she booked them for her own patio already!

Terry was one of 3 quotes I received. The first 2 gave me quick quotes - 1 was over the phone without even looking at my yard. I chose Terry because he took his time looking at the layout of my backyard and voiced his concern of certain areas (water drainage and different levels of the yard). He then suggested some artistic advice and I ended up with a curved patio with 2 levels that is more beautiful than I could have imagined. I will also add he is an honest businessman and just an overall nice guy.
