I treat each client with lots of love. I make sure that every one is very comfortable with me from the beginning, making multiple visits while the owners are around until all are happy to see me. I am very responsible and do not take this job lightly. My only complaint from owners is that their pets expect the care that I give them all the time! I get to spend my days and nights with the greatest pets in the world (not counting my own brood of six). I have clients from all walks of life - cats, dogs, birds, fish, ferrets, turtles, lizards. All have their own personalities and make every day a new experience. Their ages range from the young to seniors. All are treated with love.

We, Axel and Daisy, are very happy with our service from Cricket's. They feed us and walk us a lot during the time our parents are away so that they do not worry about us! We are extremely impressed with the very meticulous way Axels' pills are dispensed as well as the special care and feeding of the different types of foods that we are consuming each day. We are glad we found Cricket's AND keep up the good work. Two paws up !!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working with mentally challenged adults and children for years, I decided I needed a change. With a household full of animals, it was not much of a stretch to start the company. I have also taken care of friend's pets when they were away. Another reason was when we have gone away in the past, we were always looking for an alternative to kenneling our pets.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look for a pet services company that is bonded and insured, A pet sitter goes into your home and it is very important that they are trustworthy and insured against unknown calamities that may arise. Make sure that the person has a backup person who is also bonded and insured. Also check references before you hire anyone. Your pets depend on your diligence!
