Had a gay wedding up north couple months ago and they were wonderful. Easy to get into contact with, fairly easy handling and going over contract together. Our caterers got into contact with them and coordinated the drinks and cocktails which was a great team effort on all parts. The bartenders day of wedding were very nice and very helpful. Everyone loved the mocktails they helped make for us. I would absolutely use them again for any future services involving beverages. The drinks that were served were good. The communication while planning was great. Day of our wedding could have been better. There was some confussion with the bartenders on a drink that we wanted served. This resulted in a lot of left over/unused alcohol/mixers. The service said they asked someone to clarify, but they did not have the answer. I wish someone had reached out to either the bride or groom to get a clear answer.

I’m sorry to hear that you felt the day-of service could have been better. We always aim for clear communication and smooth execution, so I’d like to clarify a few points for context.
Our team provided a shopping list specifying white wine for your sangria. On the day of the wedding, we were instead given champagne for that drink, as well as potted mint that had flowered and wasn’t labeled in the way our bartenders typically see for use. To avoid disappointing your guests, our bartenders consulted a family member (as they couldn’t locate you or Alex during setup) and even made a trip to purchase fresh mint—at no additional charge—to make sure everything was served as close to your vision as possible.
In your email after the event, you mentioned that overall everything went well and initially thought no one had been contacted. Once we clarified that our bartenders had spoken with a family member, I understood the matter was resolved, so I was a bit surprised to see your review. Please know we never want a client to feel anything less than thrilled with our service, and your input helps us improve. If you’d like to talk further, I’d be happy to connect directly.

Shelby and the team at Bellen Events/ Royal Bartending were AMAZING! They ensured that we had all of the mixers, and alcohol we would need, and they were upfront with all costs regarding our event as well as payment due dates. We had multiple Zoom calls ahead of time to guarantee that we were all prepared and had the information we needed. The bartending team had a backup plan in the case of illness, which they implemented flawlessly. The server that we hired for our wedding commented how amazing the bartenders were with her and all of our guests! We received lots of compliments from our guests on the drinks and bartending service at our wedding. We will undoubtedly consider them for future events! THANK YOU VAL AND JAKE FOR THE AMAZING SERVICE YOU PROVIDED! And thank you Shelby & Katie for coordinating such a wonderful night for us and our guests!
