- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Estimates are NOT an Exact/Final Price. It is only a Professional guesstimate that may be Higher or Lower in the final cost when the job is complete. You will need to provide Licensed Software and code keys to install properly and legally. Hardware parts, IE hard-drives, external drives, Cat5 cable ECT...need to be onsite and/or available. Pricing Examples... – $85 per hour * On-site service is only available within 20 to 30 miles of my location in Milford, NH...1 hour minimum charge, then billed per 15 minutes rounded up. On-site appointments require someone 18 years or older to be present. By appointment only. 1 hour minimum charge. A $35 call out fee/travel charge will be added beyond the 20 miles of my location. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a brief conversation about the issue/s the client is having either by email or phone as to what happened before and after the problem occurred. This allows me to have a Plan of Action in place for when I have been Hired for this Opportunity. It allows you the Customer to have a shorter call time and a Technical Professional that’s prepared to hit the ground running when they meet to resolve your PC issue/s. I have earned 20 years of Hands on experience with some of the largest corporations in PC WORLD. Having Titles such as SR. Technical Support Analyst...Datacenter Server Engineer and Systems & Application Support Engineer I.E...4 years @ Hewlett Packard, 6 years @ IBM/Rational Software, 2 years @ Budweiser Anheiser Busch. SUMMARY: • Senior IT Support Engineer with 20 years of experience in migrations, implementation, documentation & troubleshooting solutions on enterprise environments. Managed Technical Support Team responsible for infrastructure and Managed Services Group at Rational Software/IBM. • Extensive experience as a SR. Windows Administrator, VMWare vCenter Server 5.5, Esxi 5.x 6.x. & Vmotion utilizing live migration. Having acquired a tremendous amount of hands on experience with Windows OS’s & Servers 03, 08-R2, and 12. Altiris Deployment Servers, Citrix (Zen) DT and Server.
