Joe does great work overall. Super professional and courteous. He installed 2 chandeliers and 3 ceiling fans for me in a home that was built in the 40’s with old electric running through the walls. I was nervous to hire someone because it was hard finding someone with experience with old wiring, but Joe knew exactly what he was doing. Everything works as requested and I am grateful for the job he has performed! Very affordable and quality work! I will definitely be using Joe in the future for any electrical needs.

Very good experience, Joe arrived on time both days and was able to get approx 11 LEDs installed in no time. I asked if I can offer my help so as to learn a thing or two and he was more than happy to answer my questions, etc. He's been doing this for over 30 years so he knows what he's doing. He was also able to help with a dishwasher installation as well so he's pretty much an all rounder, I think.

Joe installed interlock circuit for our back up generator. He provided the quote and description of the work scope. He showed up right on time and got things done as promised. Highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack requires a price to be listed; so I did. I do not charge for an estimate, or a consultation, I typically charge by the job rather than hourly. This puts the burden on me to complete the task in a timely manner. If the job is easier than I anticipated, I'll gladly discount my quote. Make sure the person is licensed and insured, there are people advertising themselves as 'handyman' on Thumbtack for electrical and plumbing work...don't fall for it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold Master Electrical Licenses in NH, MA and CT, I am fully insured. I've been in the electrical construction trade for 30yrs+, my education is well varied, I have an ASEE, a BS and an MBA.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Technical high school, majored in Electrical Construction, wired houses as a teen and while attending college.
