Joe did a great job explaining everything he had to do, and out of four quotes he was the best price by far. Joe worked for four hours in the rain to get our job completed! Joe also fixed a small problem he was not hired to fix at no extra charge, which is much appreciated. I am very happy with the work and would definitely hire Joe again if i need more electrical services. Thanks Joe!

We had a little snag when our job turned out to be bigger than I thought but Joe adapted and made our project happen. He even had to scramble into the attic to find an oddly placed circuit breaker. Joe is now on my speed dial for future electrical needs.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack requires a price to be listed; so I did. I do not charge for an estimate, or a consultation, I typically charge by the job rather than hourly. This puts the burden on me to complete the task in a timely manner. If the job is easier than I anticipated, I'll gladly discount my quote.
Make sure the person is licensed and insured, there are people advertising themselves as 'handyman' on Thumbtack for electrical and plumbing work...don't fall for it.

Technical high school, majored in Electrical Construction, wired houses as a teen and while attending college.
