Anti-virus programs generally will not detect spyware or malware because they are completely different types of software. you can have all the anti virus programs on your computer and still get loaded up with spyware and malware. Viruses are NOT very common these days
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
efficiency and cost. $100 is the minimum price you can expect to pay for computer servicing from any of the corporate service providers (Geek Squad, Staples, etc) and that is for something VERY basic. Data recovery you're looking at at least $200. My costs are 50 -70% LESS than all these places, and I will have it done within 2 days, instead of 10-14 days it takes at these corporate service centers
