When we met Dee we had 3 dogs, one of which was very ‘reactive’. Dee Ganley, dog trainer extraordinaire, set us on the right path to begin reclaiming control over our household. Her practical, straightforward approach was much appreciated. Her greatest gift to us was teaching us how to read our dog’s behavior so that we could maximize the type of reward based instruction we give our pets. From the first moment I met Dee, and watched her with her own dog, I knew that was the type of relationship I would like to build with my own dogs. Thanks in large part to meeting Dee Ganley life at home and on the road with our dogs is lots of fun! Dee taught us how to build a relationship with our dogs so that they know what behavior is expected of them. We’ve learned that each interaction is an opportunity to teach with kindness and respect for our furry family members. We highly recommend Dee’s services. Sue and Ben Cluff

One year after rescuing a one-year old female German Shepherd and despite countless hours in classes with various trainers and consulting behaviorists, that dog was still aggressive/reactive , not only towards dogs and strangers, but to me and the rest of my family. I was very close to giving up on her until I was fortunate enough to meet Dee Ganley. Dee taught me that a reactive dog is one who has to be taught self control with positive reinforcement, that my dog needed a handler who has to remain calm to properly manage her reactive behavior and how to use different techniques to change her responses to stimuli. Dee sees every dog as an individual, she has terrific dog instinct, and has many years of experience helping dogs and their handlers, so she is able to give advice based on your own dog's needs, your experience as a handler and your level of commitment . Thank you, Dee, for all your help, guidance and understanding, which has made my dog, Annie, a cherished part of our family!

Dee really helped me to assess what was going on between two dogs having issues in my household, and how to deal with it. Turned out one of the dogs had hypothyroidism, which Dee has suggested I get him tested for. Between management, training, and medication, I now have a peaceful household. Dee is GREAT!

I highly recommend Dee to anyone looking for a wonderful, compassionate, hands on trainer for their dog. Dee knows her stuff. It is all positive reinforcement and she offers a variety of methods and tools. She looks at each dog individuality and caters to their needs. I have been to several trainers in the area but Dee is by far the best. I have done group classes as well as privates and have never been disappointed.
