Introduction: I provide a fee for services in geriatric care management (navigating thru the maze of health care options for disabled adults and elders and creating a customized plan based on mutual collaboration and goals). Within this business framework, I also provide grief counseling; and working with individuals to better understand and cope with their loss. In addition, I have developed skills in working with hoarding behavior; and working toward decluttering. My more than 30 years of experience as a medical social worker have focused on the adult, disabled and senior population and their needs; allowing mutual collaboration on desired goals.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only take private pay and long term care insurance. My assessment is $275; with $125 as my hourly rate and $45 as my travel rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to a brief summary of the issues at hand, and then review my skill set and how I may be able to assist the customer with his or her problem. My initial visit is a 90 minute assessment; developing goals and determining the issues which each will be working on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters in Social Word from Boston University and 30 years as a geriatric social worker; working in long term care, hospital and home care settings. I recently obtained an Advanced Certificate in Hospice and Palliative Care in Social Work, and do grief and bereavement counseling.
